Hillsong Worship - Behold (Then Sings My Soul)

Watch Hillsong Worship perform "Behold (Then Sings My Soul)".

Chris Tomlin - Hallelujah

Christmas is a special time of year. Gifts are exchanged, food is consumed (often too much) and movies are viewed. With so much going on, it’s always a good idea to remind ourselves of the real reason for family get-togethers and parties: the birth of Jesus Christ.

Blessing Offor’s “Hallelujah” tells the real story of Christmas in song. Chris Tomlin joins Blessing on the upbeat and catchy tune as they retell the events surrounding the birth of Christ.

Blessing begins the song with the Magis' journey to find where Jesus had been born. After they reach their much-anticipated destination, Blessing belts out that the Magi immediately dropped to the ground and started praising the little boy found in the manger. The Magi, the song says, were joined with the angels as they shouted "hallelujah."

To Blessing’s left, Chris can be seen sitting on a stool as he sings the song’s chorus.

The song’s chorus, simple and straightforward, tells of the momentous and joyous occasion that would forever change the world.

“Precious little child
Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Sound of the angels’ joy”

In addition to providing vocals to the Christmas song, Blessing can be seen in the video sitting at a piano playing as several people, standing all around him, sing backup.

As the many musicians in the room sing the beautiful song, the video shows their studio adorned with Christmas-themed decorations. Lighted Christmas trees are seen behind the musicians in nearly every single shot.

Christmas, with its multitude of activities, can become an overwhelming time of year. Late December and sometimes even early January comes with obligations that can lead us to overlook and perhaps even resent the Christmas season but let us not ever forget the real meaning of the season.

Isaiah 9:6 “For unto us a child is born, unto us a son, is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, The Mighty God, the everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.”

Magical Moment When Pentatonix Audience Joined in for 4-Part Harmony

You have to check out this magical moment when the audience at a Pentatonix concert joined together to sing a 4-part harmony of the song ‘Hey Jude’ by The Beatles.

“At our concert, we taught the crowd a 4 part harmony to ‘Hey Jude’ and watch what happened,” reads the text on the video that Pentatonix shared online.

The video then shows the band members of Pentatonix teaching the audience members the 4 parts of ‘Hey Jude.’ You hear the bass part, tenor part, soprano part, and then finally, the melody which is the alto part.

As the audience sings all together, they absolutely crush it! They all sound so amazing!

“This was truly one of the most magical moments we’ve ever had on stage,” Pentatonix writes in the text that is in the video. “As if it couldn’t get any more epic, we said ‘sing as loud as you can!’ and just listen to the crowd.”

The volume as well as the harmonizing notes that the audience is singing together is so impressive. What a magical moment to witness!

“This is a moment we’ll never forget,” says Pentatonix. “Thank you to everyone who sang their hearts out with us!”

Pentatonix shares in the caption of the video that seeing all 12,000 people in the audience harmonizing to The Beatles’ 'Hey Jude' will “forever be a core memory for us."

What an incredible way to involve the audience members at a concert!

We hope that you enjoyed watching this video and the impressive 4-part harmony of the song ‘Hey Jude’ was able to bring a smile to your face.

Psalms 5:11

WE FORGET WHY
(c) 2022 Arnybarn Music (BMI)
VERSE 1 I’ve heard of a place called Bethlehem
And the people there found a bed for Him
This wondrous child who would free us all
Who will free us all and take away our sins

CHORUS But we seem to forget
Yes, we forget
Why He bled

VERSE 2 And I’ve heard of a place called Jerusalem
Where the Holy pray and they sing the hymns
Of a wondrous man who could free us all
Who will free us all and take away our sins

CHORUS But we seem to forget
Yes, we forget
Why He bled

VERSE 3 I’ve heard of a place called Gethsemane
And the people there called Him the enemy
This wondrous man who did free us all
Who has freed us all and took away our sins

CHORUS But we seem to forget
We still do forget
Why He bled

Timeless hymn by Tennessee Ernie Ford

GOD IS AWESOME

PSALM 19 GOSPEL / WORSHIP

The Only One

This is an original song about how we fall in love with people, places, activities, and things that we shouldn't. We must remember to always put God first and at our heart's #1 spot, because ONLY He can fill the space our soul longs to fill.

Mother-Daughter Duet To 'I Will Always Love You'

Ella and Karolina Protsenko perform a mother-daughter duet to Dolly Parton’s 1974 hit, ‘I Will Always Love You.’

Dolly’s song has been a number-one classic hit when it comes to love. Originally written as a parting gift to her partner, Portner Wagner, her lyrics remind us all of what it means to be loved, seen, heard, and cherished. And Whitney Houston famously sang the song, which was featured in her 1992 film with Kevin Costner, The Body Guard.

But Ella and Karolina bring a whole new meaning to the song as they perform the song as a mother and daughter.

Their performance brought tears to my eyes. As a mother of two daughters, the bond and relationship with each of my girls is so incredibly special and unique. There isn’t anything I wouldn’t do for my girls.

And no matter what mistakes they make or the arguments we have–I will always love them. Even when there are days when I am exasperated over missing shirts or shoes they borrowed, hosting sparkly pink tea parties, or when I am comforting them over broken hearts–I will always, truly, and deeply thank God with gratitude for their wild-spirited hearts.

Watching Ella and Karolina perform this song reminds me of just that! It is truly amazing to watch this pair perform.  There is something truly incredible about the relationship between a mother and her daughter, and Karolina and Ella certainly have a special bond. Their performance of this song has amassed more than 365,600 views and over 992 comments about how beautiful their voices are.

Today, the pair put a whole new meaning to the classic love song ‘I Will Always Love You.’ It is definitely a must-see!

I hope their performance reminds you of just how special and remarkable love is–not to mention the joys (and even tribulations) of having daughters are.

Start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old they will not turn from it,” Proverbs 22:6.

In the ‘About Us’ section of their YouTube, they share that Sounds Like Reign was created by composer Brackin Kirland. He is a sound engineer, composer, and multi-instrumentalist.

He also adds he has “...been saved by the grace of God and is compelled to draw others to Christ through personal story-telling and biblical narratives set to captivating music.” Lindsay is a wife and mother who loves ‘a simple, grounded aesthetic to the music.’

Together they have created a beautiful performance you don’t want to miss of the song, ‘Like A River Glorious.’ Their unique and simple style ushers in feelings of peace in the presence of God. I love how artists like Sounds Like Reign use their talents and calling to spread the joy, love, and peace of Jesus Christ. What a beautiful way to glorify God! Their performance is going viral with over 123,783!

I have a feeling it will be played millions of times. You can’t help but hum along!

Stayed upon Christ Jesus, Hearts are fully blest
Finding, as He promised, Perfect peace and rest.

Can I get an amen? We hope you enjoyed this beautiful performance, and it blessed your spirit today.

“For you have been my help, and in the shadow of your wings I will sing for joy. My soul clings to you; your right hand upholds me,” Psalms 63:6-7.

“O holy night, the stars are brightly shining, it is the night of our dear Savior's birth
Long lay the world in sin and error pining, ‘til He appeared and the soul felt its worth
A thrill of hope, the weary world rejoices, for yonder breaks, a new and glorious morn
Fall on your knees, O hear the angel voices, O night divine
O night when Christ was born, O night divine, O night, O night divine”

What a fantastic music video of ‘Oh Holy Night’ from this talented a cappella group. The women singing in this video are from Noteworthy, one of BYU’s top a cappella ensembles.

'Thank God' Performance by Everly Fair Michael Warren

Check out this beautiful cover of the song ‘Thank God’ performed by Lauryn Evans, Everly Fair, and Michael Warren.

“I was lost, you found a way to bring me back, needed forgiveness, you always gave me that
Girl, I’m a witness of your love ’cause you don’t be giving up, and it’s crazy, how you saved me
Hand on the Bible, don’t know how I got you, but I couldn’t ask for more
Girl, what we got’s worth thanking God for, so thank God”

In the music video, the three talented musicians are performing ‘Thank God’ in what appears to be an abandoned greenhouse. Lauryn Evans and Everly Fair are both singing and wearing yellow, and Michael Warren is singing and playing the guitar. All three of them are so talented and sound wonderful together!

The song ‘Thank God’ was originally by Kane Brown and his wife Katelyn. Each of them have expressed their thankfulness to God for bringing them into each other’s lives. "I keep telling everybody she's my secret weapon," Kane Brown shared. "But this song is just like us, you know? I feel like it's any relationship song, or anybody that's married or going to get married, that just knows it's like, 'God put you in my life for a reason.'"

The lyrics in ‘Thank God’ talk about getting to “wake up by your side and thank God” and having “your hand fits perfectly in mine and thank God.” What a sweet way to honor your marriage by writing a love song about your relationship!

We hope that you enjoyed listening to Lauryn Evans, Everly Fair, and Michael Warren’s rendition of ‘Thank God’ today! May it remind you of your loved one and how blessed you are to have them in your life.

“When I think of Christmastime, several memories come to mind
Like mistletoe and stockings on the wall, gathering with family and decorating evergreens

About the baby full of grace, born inside a lowly manger stall
‘Tis the season, and the reason for it all”

What a wonderful performance full of so many talented singers and beautiful music and lyrics!
