'Boast In The Cross' Rend Collective Acoustic Performance

Listen to this wonderful acoustic performance of ‘Boast In The Cross’ by Rend Collective.

“It’s always been the framework I’ve been leaning on, it’s stabilized my life
When I came stumbling home, it’s been tested many times, but it is standing strong
All of my pride is in the cross, it’s the anchor of my universe, my gravity
And my whole world revolves around the mystery, it’s the focus of my heart
It is the centerpiece, all of my pride is in the cross, it’s in the cross”

What a beautiful song with such an important message to share. After performing the song, Gareth and Chris of Rend Collective sat down to talk about the meaning behind ‘Boast In The Cross’ and what it means to them personally.

“I think it was a hard season to write a hymn out of in the sense that there’s kind of been a lot of scandals and difficulty propping up in the church, and so, I guess this song is kind of an exploration of how do we find something to be proud of in a time when the church can be a little bit embarrassing,” says Chris. “And the reality is that Jesus doesn’t let us down. He’s nothing to be ashamed of. He’s nothing to be embarrassed about even in our failures and the ways that we fall apart as the bride of Christ.”

He continues: “Jesus is still worth celebrating within all of that and I guess that’s kind of the tension in this song. It’s like, ‘You’ve always been that framework that I’ve been leaning on and you still are, even in the middle of big questions about the way that we actually follow You and the way that we do that as a church.’”

We hope that you enjoyed listening to this performance of ‘Boast In The Cross’ today and it was able to encourage you in some way.

Emotional Mother-Son Duet To 'Rise Up' By Audra Day

Feel inspired as this mother-son duo perform a duet of the iconic tune, ‘Rise Up.’

This powerful song was originally released by Andra Day in 2015. The tune climbed the Billboard charts and it was even nominated for Best R&B Performance at the 58th Grammy Awards.

Years later, the song continues to be an anthem of strength and courage in the face of adversity.

“You're broken down and tired
Of living life on a merry go round
And you can't find the fighter
But I see it in you so we gonna walk it out”

Jordan Rabjohn is a talented musician from the United Kingdom. He was a finalist for Open Mic UK 2016 and named Capital FM's Vodafone Big Top 40 'Future Breaker' in 2016.

Recently, he went viral when he performed a stunning ‘Hallelujah’ duet with his mother, Katherine Hallam.

Today, the duo is back with another incredible performance. Just listen as they belt out the inspiring words of ‘Rise Up’ by Audra Day.

“And I'll rise up, I'll rise like the day
I'll rise up, I'll rise unafraid
I'll rise up
And I'll do it a thousand times again”

On YouTube, the duo shared that they “wanted to spread some positivity and love during these difficult times.”  And there’s no doubt that they accomplished their goal.

Who else is in awe of this talented mother and son?

Matthew 19:26 “But Jesus beheld them, and said to them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.”

Lauren Daigle Sings 'Remember' With America’s Got Talent Viral Singer Ava Swiss

Check out this official video of Lauren Daigle singing 'Remember' with America’s Got Talent viral singer Ava Swiss.

“In the darkest hour when I cannot breathe, fear is on my chest, the weight of the world on me
Everything is crashing down, everything I had known, when I wonder if I’m all alone
I remember, I remember, You have always been faithful to me, I remember, I remember
Even when my own eyes could not see, You were there, always there”

What a beautiful song! And these two talented women sound absolutely incredible when singing it together.

While performing at the iconic Red Rocks Amphitheater in Colorado, Lauren Daigle surprised the audience by bringing up former America’s Got Talent contestant Ava Swiss to sing with her on stage.

“Somebody sent me this video, and I was like, ‘Oh my gosh, what a talent. What a beauty. What a moving story. Please help me welcome to the stage Miss Ava Swiss!” Lauren said while introducing Ava.

Part of Ava’s story is that she is an Oxford High School shooting survivor, and she has shared that Lauren Daigle’s ‘Remember’ helped guide her through her experience. After the two performed the song together on stage, Lauren presented her with a check for $25,000 for the non-profit organization called 42 Strong.

The organization was started by one of the victim’s families whose mission it is to “create a better future by helping students develop a greater sense of purpose, community, and resilience.” Additionally, another $25,000 was donated to Colorado’s Healing Fund – an organization whose mission is to “provide immediate and long-term support to victim’s families and survivors” in the aftermath of mass violence.

This touching performance and generous act of kindness will bring tears to your eyes. And we hope that Lauren Daigle’s song 'Remember' was able to bring you some encouragement while listening to it today.

'Good To Be Loved' Cody Carnes And Natalie Grant Live Performance

Christian artists Cody Carnes and Natalie Grant praise the Lord with a live rendition of ‘Good To Be Loved.’

“How You saved me, how You changed me
Amazing grace
I’m no longer an orphan, a captive, a fool
It’s good to be loved by You”

Singer-songwriter Cody Carnes felt a call to worship music from a very young age. In fact, he was just a teenager when he led his first worship service. Since that time, Cody has continued to write music and perform in various bands.

In 2017, he set out on a solo career and it’s been a non-stop worship concert since.

Another notable name in Christian music is Natalie Grant. Natalie has been a staple in the Christian music scene. With hit songs such as ‘Hurricane’ and ‘Held,’ she has truly cemented herself as a talented worship leader.

Now, these two powerhouse artists are coming together for a live performance of ‘Good To Be Loved.’

Just listen as they belt out these words of praise to our King.

“How sweet it is to walk with you Jesus
It is better than life
One thing is certain, I know one thing is true
It’s good to be loved by You”

These lyrics are the perfect reminder that God has given us so many gifts and we should give thanks each and every day. What a blessing to praise His Holy Name through song!

Ephesians 5:20 “Giving thanks always for all things to God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.”
