Seph Schlueter's Won't Start Now, A Song of Unwavering Faith

The music video for "Won't Start Now" by Seph Schlueter features a song with a powerful message of unwavering faith and divine presence. The lyrics emphasize that God is always faithful, never abandoning or hurting, and constantly by one's side. Key themes include:

Unfailing Faithfulness: The song highlights the belief that God has never failed in the past and will not start now, always being present and keeping promises.

Constant Support: It reassures listeners that they will never be alone, abandoned, or left to worry, as God will always be their shelter and hiding place.

Divine Steadfastness: The core message is that God "won't start now" in letting them down or walking away, reinforcing a sense of security and trust.

The video serves as an official music video for this song, which is part of the album "Counting My Blessings."

‘Oceans (Where Feet May Fail)’ Stunning Harp Guitar Instrumental Cover

A musician turned in a stunning harp guitar instrumental cover of "Oceans (Where Feet May Fail)." It is an outstanding rendition of the classic, beloved song that deserves to be listened to repeatedly. Watch the short but jaw-dropping clip to listen to the musician beautifully perform "Oceans (Where Feet May Fail)" on the harp guitar.

In the last decade or so, covers have taken off and become incredibly popular. YouTube and other similar sites are full of individuals posting videos of themselves playing songs originally written, recorded and performed by others. Shows like American Idol, The Voice and America's Got Talent primarily consist of contestants singing covers. Some of them are fantastic, while others are ones that should be forgotten and never spoken of again.

But even when it comes to covers, some tunes are continually performed, much more than others. Anyone who can and does play a musical instrument or sings apparently has played "Don't Stop Believin'," "Ring of Fire," "I Will Always Love You" by Dolly Parton and Whitney Houston and Lauren Daigle's "You Say." There are others, but those seem to be especially popular.

Another tune that consistently receives the cover treatment is Hillsong UNITED's "Oceans (Where Feet May Fail)." And in a clip posted on YouTube, it has received yet another cover. This latest one is an instrumental version performed using the harp guitar. You don't even have to be a fan of contemporary Christian music to be familiar with this song. You probably know the song even if you're not aware of it.

Even without a single lyric being sung, this young man's version is absolutely beautiful. As he plays the song near and dear to the hearts of many, you'll likely find yourself singing along, adding your voice and the song's lyrics to the music.

Colossians 3:16 "Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord."

Lyric Video For Phil Wickham's Powerful 'Resurrection Story'

Phil Wickham is always coming out with incredible worship songs. Check out this wonderful and creative worship video. Watch this lyric video for Phil Wickham's powerful 'Resurrection Story.'

In the beginning, we see Phil walk in front of a green wall next to a stool. He puts on headphones and begins to jam out. He is then given a pen as he dances around on his own. He is pumped up and moving around, celebrating Jesus. It is as if he is inviting us into his own worship session. He is then handed a guitar and begins to play for the next verse.

The words of this song testify to Jesus's transforming work on the cross and how the stone was rolled away so that we could be alive. Phil reminds us that Jesus gets all of the glory in our own resurrection stories. He is then given a remote and sings into it during the bridge.

The chorus sings out:

One cross, three days, then You rolled the stone away
Called my name. Now, I'm running out the grave
You alone get the glory, In my resurrection story

As you listen to this song, get pumped up in your faith and ponder the ways that Jesus brought others to salvation. How has He brought you out of death and into life? He is worthy to be praised, and just like the many people in the historical book of the Scriptures, we, too, can tell our resurrection stories.

“Very truly I tell you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not be judged but has crossed over from death to life. Very truly I tell you, a time is coming and has now come when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God and those who hear will live.” John 14:1-3

Powerful ‘Turn Your Eyes Upon Jesus’ Performance Will Stir Your Soul

This powerful “Turn Your Eyes Upon Jesus” performance will stir your soul. Seeing a room full of people praising God is sure to bring him honor and glory. Watch the video to witness it.

An older woman starts the hundred-odd people off in the song. She sounds absolutely angelic and much younger than her years. As the camera pans across the room, everyone lifts their voices, and it’s obvious that they are all filled with much dedication and care. Some of the song’s lyrics are:

Turn your eyes upon Jesus
Look full in his wonderful
And all the things of earth will grow strangely dim
In the light of His glory and grace

It is so lovely to hear a whole room harmonizing together, especially for a beautiful song like this one. The hymn was written in 1022 by Helen H. Lemmel, who was inspired by the life of missionary Lilias Trotter. Helen was blind but knew that her earthly vision was not what mattered.

One of Lilias’ poems inspired her, which spoke of turning one’s soul’s vision to Jesus. Despite the terrible tragedy of losing her eyesight and her husband leaving her, Helen found strength and solace in her relationship with God. She turned toward God not with the eyes of her head, but with the eyes of her soul. She went on to write over 400 hymns, led a women’s choral group, and taught music at the Moody Bible Institute.

“I have been put to death on the cross with Christ; still I am living; no longer I, but Christ is living in me; and that life which I now am living in the flesh I am living by faith, the faith of the Son of God, who in love for me, gave himself up for me.” Galatians 2:20

Today in Paradise

From the Author/Composer Joshua Schmidt book The Thief’s Last Word → Today in Paradise https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0FHMGJPKK Every page of this story will shatter your assumptions about grace and illuminate the fierce love that reached beyond a broken world to rescue a dying criminal. In The Thief’s Last Word you will stand beside the man who hung next to Jesus and hear his final confession of faith. You will feel the weight of every unjust word he spoke against himself and every promise of forgiveness he received in return. This is not a dusty theological treatise or a polite sermon. This is raw, unfiltered truth delivered from a cross in the middle of a brutal execution. As you walk through each numbered section you will discover how the thief’s last breath rewrote the rules about mercy and exposed the hypocrisy of those who claim to follow Christ without ever knowing His heart. Joshua Schmidt guides you through the shadows of legalism and into the blazing light of divine compassion. You will encounter the criminal who overthrew the verdict of a lifetime with a single word of faith and learn how that moment still speaks to our guilt, our doubts, and our deepest longings for acceptance. If you have ever felt unworthy of God’s love or trapped by your failures this book will set you free. You will finish these pages convinced that no sin is too black, no past too stained, and no life too broken for the grace that broke the rules to reach you.

Beautiful Rendition of Beloved Hymn ‘In Christ Alone’

Christian artist Sarah Hawkyard has released a truly beautiful rendition of the beloved hymn, “In Christ Alone.” Armed with her voice and piano, she sounds marvelous as she sings to God. Watch the video to see it.

Sarah Hawkyard covers the song in her own way, with lots of slow care as she plays the keys. As she plays, it is evident that Sarah finds pure joy through praising God like this, and it’s wonderful to see and hear her live out her joy. The simplicity of her voice and piano playing allows the lyrics to shine through with grace.

“In Christ Alone” was written in 2002 by Stuart Townend and Keith Getty.

Keith said, “I knew I wanted the song to be story-driven, so I said, ‘Let’s do a song that tells the whole story of Christ coming to earth-the whole gospel story in one song. Let’s have as many verses as we want, and let’s just go for it.” Weeks later, with a lot of fine-tuning and collaboration, “In Christ Alone” was born. Some of the lyrics are:

Sin's curse has lost its grip on me
For I am His and He is mine
Bought with the precious blood of Christ

“This worship cover of In Christ Alone is my heartfelt offering of praise — a reminder that our faith and hope rest in Jesus alone,” Sarah said. “Whether you’re listening in quiet devotion, prayer, or corporate worship, may this song remind you of God’s unshakable love and power.”

“I have been put to death on the cross with Christ; still I am living; no longer I, but Christ is living in me; and that life which I now am living in the flesh I am living by faith, the faith of the Son of God, who in love for me, gave himself up for me.” Galatians 2:20

‘When We All Get to Heaven’ Shines in Trio's Beautiful Rendition

The hymn “When We All Get to Heaven” shines brightly in this trio’s beautiful rendition. It’s a lovely cover of the hymn that is near and dear to the hearts of many. Watch the short but delightful clip to hear the musically talented andgifted trio perform “When We All Get to Heaven.”

Hymns are better than contemporary Christian music. I know that’s a likely controversial and polarizing statement, especially given the increasing popularity of contemporary Christian music. Even many churches have moved away from hymns, with some completely abandoning them. Instead, many places of worship fill the praise and worship portions of their Sunday morning services with modern Christian tunes.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion regarding hymns and contemporary Christian music. I’m sure I’m in the minority with my preference for hymns, but I don’t think it gets any better than hymns when considering church music. Many old hymns are beautifully written, wonderfully expressing and articulating an aspect of God’s incredible love, forgiveness and faithfulness. One of those familiar hymns is the beloved “When We All Get to Heaven.”

“When We All Get to Heaven” is a joyous tune that looks forward to the moment we reach that place where there is no disease, sickness or death. In a clip posted on YouTube, three truly talented individuals marvelously perform the song. All three lend their stunning voices, while the gentleman in the middle also strums on the guitar.

“When we all get to heaven
What a day of rejoicing that will be!
When we all see Jesus
We’ll sing and shout the victory!”

If that upbeat and catchy tune about the goal of our eternal home, which we’re all striving for, does not get you fired up and put you in a better mood, I’m not sure anything will.

Revelation 21:4 “And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.”

Youth Choir Delivers Inspiring Performance on America’s Got Talent

The Birmingham Fellowship Youth Choir delivers another inspiring performance on America’s Got Talent. This “Praising You” cover is simply joyful and inspiring. Watch the video to see for yourself.

With its youngest member taking the lead, the choir dances and sings in the most entertaining way. They’re all wearing colorful jerseys and are full of moves as they use their wonderful voices to praise God together. As they sang, even the judges got into it, wiggling their shoulders back and forth.

Their performance is electric. It feels impossible not to clap your hands along with the group as they sing. All of the judges shared that they were impressed with the performance.

“That was the feel-good moment of the show tonight!” show judge Sofia Vergara told them. “I mean, I thought it was so clever what you guys did with that song. Spectacular! I love you guys, and the audition tonight—you didn’t disappoint. I am so glad that you are here, and I’m sure that America’s going to vote for you.”

“That was fantastic. That’s called lighting up the room, lighting up the sky. I mean, seriously, that’s what a great choir should do, right?” said Simon Cowell. “I mean, every single one of you played the part. And honestly, I’m not just saying this—this was a big step up as well from the first audition. An absolute thrill. You deserve it.”

The choir received a golden buzzer on their first audition on the show, when they sang a mashup of “Hymn of Joy” and Pharrell and Voice of Fire's "JOY (Unspeakable)."

The choir truly puts its own spin on “Praise You,” which is full of energy and spunk. It’s exactly what you want to see and hear in a choir performance. It isn’t drab or solemn—it is a breath of fresh air, full of life.

Nathan Sheridan | 'Do You Know' (acoustic)

Nathan Sheridan brings his 2023 single “Do You Know” to life with a heartfelt performance at the GodTube Music Studio in Nashville.

Powerful Performance of Beloved Hymn ‘Great Is Thy Faithfulness’

The beloved hymn “Great Is Thy Faithfulness” has received a powerful rendition. The massive choir and congregation turned in a lovely and moving performance of the hymn, which is near and dear to the hearts of many. Watch the short but delightful clip to hear the choir perform “Great Is Thy Faithfulness.”

We are all sinners who desperately need forgiveness. None of us would have a chance without that forgiveness, love, mercy and grace. Instead, we’d still be living in our sin and shame, awaiting an eternity completely separated from Him that would be full of weeping and gnashing of teeth.

However, that does not have to be our future. Through Christ’s death on the cross and His resurrection, we can be forgiven and experience eternal life with Him. But even after we’ve been forgiven, we’ll still stumble and fall, and even then, He is quick and faithful to forgive every time. What a wonderful, mighty and merciful God we serve!

In a clip posted on YouTube, a choir and the congregation of a church sing about God’s never-ending love, faithfulness and mercy. “Great Is Thy Faithfulness” is a song we are all familiar with, but its lyrics still ring true. If not for His continued love, mercy and faithfulness, we’d be lost and without hope.

“Great is Thy Faithfulness, O God, my Father
There is no shadow of turning with thee
Thou changeset not, Thy compassions, they fail not
As Thou hast been, Thou forever wilt be”

That is an old opening verse we all know and can likely recite by heart. However, the statements in that verse are as factual today as they were when they were first penned. His promises are true and real, and we can hold onto them forever. He and His love and promises are not changing. He is the same faithful, loving God that He has always been and always will be.

2 Timothy 2:13 “If we are without faith, still he keeps faith, for he will never be untrue to himself.”

Jamie MacDonald’s ‘Who He Is’ Will Stir Your Soul

If you need some joy in your life, watch this video. Life can be so challenging many of our days, however, we too can have a smile in our hearts even if not on our faces once we listen to this song. Watching Jamie MacDonald’s “Who He Is” will stir your soul.

At the beginning of this video, we see a trendy and joyous Jamie standing in a peaceful room with a guitarist and keyboardist. The band is surrounded by greenery. The pianist plays an incredible intro with such soul and skill. Jamie comes in strong with her powerhouse voice. She has such rich depth and is easy to listen to, her voice is stunning. Jamie’s lyrics sing out such a proclamation of who the Lord says that He is in the Bible and in our lives right now.

Maybe you need to be reminded today of God’s present work in your life. The pre-chorus says:

He's my anchor in the waves, He's my healer in the pain
He’s my compass when I can't see the way, He's my ever-present help in time of need

You will love the harmonies alongside her strong melody. This trio looks like they are having a blast singing together and worshiping God. There is a lot of hardship, sin, and pain going on outside of the four walls of this performance, but the Lord is still on the throne. What name of God do you need to hear today? This song takes us to a place of awe and peace, knowing that God, over all, sees us and is holding all things together.

“For by Him all things were created, both in the heavens and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things have been created through Him and for Him. He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together.” Colossians 1:16-17
