First Baptist Clarksville leads in a stunning rendition of ‘Come Thou Fount (I Will Sing).’ The song starts as the classic song that we all know and love. The verse is sung while the camera zooms in on various band members and choir members leading the church congregation. It is inspiring and encouraging to see a variety of ages all coming together to praise Jesus as Savior. 

The chorus is motivating and musically uplifting alongside these powerful lyrics. As the church is singing, it reminds us that the church has been singing this song for generations because the Scriptures tell us that Jesus is our Living Water. He is the blessing, He is our greatest joy in life. I love watching the various musicians play their instruments, each one unique. Whether a person is playing their praise or singing their praise, all that we have been given has been provided to us from our Creator. These individuals come together on the stage in their sanctuary, but the glory is going to God. He is the One who even gave the ability for this song to be crafted. May we join in with the worship to Him wherever we are viewing.

In an inspiring new YouTube video, singer Rebecca St. James is joined by her daughters for ‘You Make Everything Beautiful.’ The song has never sounded better. Watch the clip to hear the encouraging new version of the song. 

The song is about how God gives beauty, and the most important kind of beauty is inward. 

“My new version of ‘You Make Everything Beautiful’ is coming out… and what makes it even more special? My daughters are singing on it with me!” Rebecca shared. “This project has been such a joy and dream come true.”

Rebecca wrote the song while reflecting on her lifelong struggle with self-image. She came to a point where she realized that she needed to give her image desires over to God and realized that it’s not what’s outside that matters. That’s why she wanted to share the special song with her daughters, in faith that they will take the song’s message to heart. 

Rebecca’s original version of the song came out in 2011, several years before her daughters were born. Some of the song’s lyrics are: 

‘In my weakness, You can shine
In Your strength, I can fly
And You make everything, everything beautiful
You make everything, everything new’

In the new music video with her two daughters, Rebecca is seen praying with her spouse and daughters before they begin to sing. She embraces each of her kids and later looks on proudly as her daughters sing in the recording room. 

“God brings beauty from ashes,” Rebecca said.  

“He hath made every thing beautiful in his time: also he hath set the world in their heart, so that no man can find out the work that God maketh from the beginning to the end.” Ecclesiastes 3 :11
