Democrat Rep.-elect Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is garnering criticism and a lot of laughs for her poor math skills after she claimed Pentagon accounting errors could fund Medicare-for-all.

Fox News reports the socialist cited a Nation story about how $21 trillion in "Pentagon financial transactions" between 1998 and 2015 could not be documented or explained.

In response, Ocasio-Cortez tweeted those accounting errors would cover 66% of the $32 trillion Medicare for All price tag.

She was roundly criticized -- even by left-leaning outlets like The New York Times and Vox for what was called her lack of “a working knowledge of basic economics” -- and The Washington Post awarded her “four Pinnochios.”

Ocasio-Cortez has also come under fire for not knowing the three branches of government and referring to Israel's "occupation" of Palestine.
