Colorado county report shows vaccine clinic flouted safety

DENVER (AP) — A Colorado county public health report has found a Colorado Springs vaccine clinic operating without proper temperature storage for vaccines or social distancing, as well as unmasked workers. The Associated Press obtained the report on the Dr. Moma Health and Wellness Clinic by an El Paso County public health employee in response to a records request. The employee said they did not see temperature logs, vaccine fridges or labeled syringes. The employee noted patient records showed “Dr. Moma” as the only vaccinator listed even though others were giving vaccines on site. The state health department halted vaccinations after the clinic administered them to nearly 4,000 people.
