Sidney Young

Sidney grew up in North East Houston as a child with his older brother and parents, and worked in his Dad’s muffler shop every day after school on Little York Rd. in Houston, Texas.  Upon finishing High School, Sidney joined the USAF and served in the Air Force for 4 years. He then joined the US Army, serving for two years. Upon exiting the Army, Sidney joined the Houston Police Department and served as a Houston Police Officer in North East Houston at a time when gangs and drugs ruled the streets.

After more than ten years, he made the decision to leave the Police Department and worked for a Home Builder for many years, learning how to do real estate along the way. Sidney then went on to wholesale real estate. All along the way, Sidney was making connections with Hedge Funds and partnered with Jared Parrish to start Allura Financial. 

Today, Sidney and Jared make up the ownership team of Allura Financial and fund Real Estate deals Nationwide. Together they own Allura Financial, LLC, Allura Holdings and Allura Communications.

Sidney started on AM700 KSEV for 6 years, and hosted the Owner Builder Network Radio Show while working within the company as a sales manager and client coordinator to build homes.  Sidney then moved on to CBS Radio with the “Talking Business w Sidney Young Show” in Houston where He learned the administrative side of radio and the business side of radio broadcasting.  Sidney then went on to host “Taste of Houston Radio Show” on 92.1FM and then to 91.1FM “The Boss” radio where He hosted the Morning show from 7am to 10am M-F.  

Real Estate has always been his passion and teaching others how to make money in Real Estate has been his reward for learning the craft on his own.  Today Allura Financial not only Funds Real Estate but we teach and buy Real Estate as well.
