“Mostly Peaceful” Terror Attack in Colorado
The Salty Citizen

On Sunday, June 1, 2025, a peaceful demonstration organized by the group “Run For Their Lives,” was held in historic downtown Boulder, Colorado.
The event was to raise awareness for Israeli hostages STILL HELD in Gaza. That seems reasonable, right? Over 600 days later, and there are still hostages being held…after 1200 civilians and first responders were killed in a terror attack on October 7th.
In the midst of appalling antisemitic attacks and recent assassinations, reasonable people wanted to draw attention to the ongoing crisis.
And it would have never made the weekend news, no matter how notable and noteworthy such a gesture truly is. But it did make the news. Because a pro-Palestinian, immigrant–who came in during Biden’s tremendously vetted and “never unsecured” but wide-open border–chose to make this peaceful demonstration the site of a horrific terror attack.
Six individuals, aged between 67 and 88, were injured in the attack. Among the injured were a Holocaust survivor and a University of Colorado professor.
Soliman shouted “Free-Palestine…Zionist…Killers,” as he lit the Molotov cocktails and threw them at innocent people. Soliman is here illegally, having overstayed his work/tourist visa by two years. Keep that in mind as this very week, the left shrieked about the audacity of Trump to want to keep terrorists from entering the country on student and work visas.
But it’s fine. Everything is fine.
We have had two terrorist attacks on Jews or Jewish Christians in the last two weeks. On American soil.
We have had two terrorist attacks where the attacker yelled “Free Palestine!” On American soil.
We had Jewish students leave their own graduation ceremonies this weekend as speeches were given that were antisemitic, threatening, and intimidating…and strangely, also echoed the calls of terrorists, “Free Palestine!”
But it’s fine. I’m sure it’s fine.
I mean, they keep saying the “Free Palestine” movement has nothing to do with terror or antisemitism. But the antisemitic terrorists disagree.
At the news conference in Colorado last night, these questions were asked, “Was there an apparent motivation for the attack?” “Is the suspect affiliated with any terror group or network?” The answer to both was “No.”
The hell you say.
The suspect stated his motivation quite clearly and his affiliation, when he yelled “Free Palestine.”
The Boulder DA promised to make sure the attacker was held “fully accountable.” Glorious.
Like he was held “fully accountable” for breaking the law in violating his visa provisions? Like he was “fully accountable” for participating in antisemitic protests prior?
The DA also reminded everyone that “This is not the time to be divisive.” So helpful, truly.
A man committed a violent terrorist attack in your city, a hate crime targeting Jews, but your concern is that others will be divisive because the attacker was Muslim or an illegal immigrant? Just fantastic leadership. Hope everyone gets the memo to send extra security to protect the pro-Hamas, pro-terror, mostly peaceful protestors still congregating at Harvard. And MIT. And Colorado. I mean to tell you what, it’s a dangerous time to be a terrorist sympathizer.
Here’s a radical thought: Enforce visa laws. Prosecute hate crimes. And maybe, just maybe, stop pretending ‘Free Palestine’ is always a humanitarian slogan.
