Happy Thanksgiving! The treatment our ancestors gave the indigenous people of this land (The United States) was almost unforgivable. But, regardless of where you stand on this issue, I believe it's important to get educated on the matter. And this country provides plenty of places to learn more about the peoples who lived on these lands prior to the Europeans arriving. In addition, the first Thanksgiving actually took place and it is a fascinating story of the pilgrims' plight. Take a visit to Plymouth, MA to learn all about the first Thanksgiving.
