‘You Will Be Found’ Natalie Grant Featuring Cory Asbury

Two talented singers perform a tune about fighting loneliness, getting help and finding a friend.

Life is not always a pleasant experience. In fact, it can be downright awful and seemingly unbearable at times. Situations and circumstances can lead to intense feelings of loneliness and inadequacy.

In the song “You Will be Found” performed by Natalie Grant and Cory Asbury, the two musicians sing about these times of great loneliness and finding a friend and the will to keep on going, to overcome.

The opening verse begins a series of questions. All the questions pertain to being alone and feeling like there are no avenues to seek help and refuge. Everyone has, without a doubt, felt this way at one time or another.

However, thankfully, the song is longer than the first verse. The second verse adds that when you are feeling down and depressed, simply “reach out your hand” and “someone will come running” in order to bring you home.

The song’s chorus, with its motivational message, instructs listeners to hold their heads up high and look around because, once again, “you will be found.”

“So let the sun come streaming in
‘Cause you’ll reach up and you’ll rise again
Lift your head and look around
You will be found”

The song’s visuals also match its lyrics. At the beginning of the video, the background, as well as the singers’ clothes are comprised of black, blues and other dark hues. However, by the end of the song, there is sunlight, hope and both singers are wearing brightly-colored clothes.

God is still at work even during times of loneliness and extreme despair. He still is in control and has a plan. Deuteronomy 31:6 informs readers that “he will not fail you, nor forsake you.”

This song has a terrific motivational message to encourage listeners to keep going and to continue fighting because there is help. God knows and understands whatever it is you may be facing and how you’re feeling.

1 Chronicles 16:11 “Seek the Lord and his strength, seek his face continually.”

‘Keep Looking Up’ Britt Nicole And Joe L Barnes

An upbeat and uplifting song from a Grammy-nominated Christian music artist encourages those discouraged and downtrodden to keep up the fight and to keep going.

Life can leave people battered, bruised, broken and scarred. Situations can be overwhelming, causing people to feel as if there’s no hope. Throwing in the towel and giving up can seem like a preferable course of action.

However, giving up and giving in is never the right game plan. God's Word promises that He will remain faithful and never leave us, no matter the situation – good or bad. He is our shelter during life’s many storms.

In the song, “Keep Looking Up” by Britt Nicole and Joe L Barnes, listeners are told to stay in the fight and continue to battle their present obstacle or hurdle.

In the first verse, Britt shares her upbeat and motivational message singing that listeners have come too far to give up and that if you hold on, victory is just over the horizon.

In the tune’s chorus, Britt encourages all dreamers and believers to “keep looking up, up, up, up” and that “Heaven is watching over us.” She also, much like Journey in the 1980s, tells dreamers not to stop believing.

Britt and Joe also sing that they understand circumstances can appear dark, cold and without much hope. Those situations may even cause individuals to feel as if they are all alone, but the two singers assure listeners that is not the case.

“Baby I promise that you’re not alone
Maybe you feel like you are in a storm
Maybe you feel like your heart’s broken and torn
Have you ever thought that maybe it’s divine?”

The catchy track with the reassuring and positive message would be a perfect addition to any pop radio station in the country.

Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, said the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.”

I’ve Witnessed It’ Passion Acoustic Performance Featuring Melodie Malone

One song beautifully articulates why God deserves all honor, glory and praise.

Most people can likely attest to how God was present and helped them endure a difficult and trying period. God’s promises of love and faithfulness were expressed and carried out during these periods. Those people were witnesses to His faithfulness.

In the song “I’ve Witnessed It” by Passion and Melodie Malone, the musicians sing about observing God’s goodness and faithfulness in their lives. They have a testimony to share because of God’s work during unpleasant situations.

In the song’s opening verse, the lyrics state even during a hopeless situation, when “I was lost and all alone,” God could still be found. He was “where I found a home,” the song mentions.

The song’s second verse points out that God is always faithful and ever-present. No matter the situation, God never left. He provided hope.

The song’s chorus adds that because of those difficult circumstances, the musicians have a testimony. They have personally witnessed God at work. They know of His faithfulness and because of that, God deserves all praise, honor and glory.

“I’ve witnessed Your faithfulness
I’ve seen You breathe life again
So, I’ll pour out my praise again”

The song’s chorus also adds that God and his promises have not failed them yet. Again, because of the hardship they experienced, God was able to work in their life, providing them with a testimony to share with others.

The song’s lyrics raise an interesting idea. No one enjoys going through life’s storms. Everyone wishes for them to be vanquished immediately, but what if God uses that time to provide us with a testimony to benefit others who may hear it? What if God uses those periods to demonstrate His love and faithfulness to us?

Deuteronomy 32:4 “He is the Rock, his work is perfect: for all his ways are judgment: a God of truth and without iniquity, just and right is he.”

Father-Daughter Duo Sings ‘The Prayer’ For Sleeping Sister And Pups

One beloved singing duo revisited a favorite that first brought them recognition online.

Mat and Savanna Shaw, a father-daughter duo, have posted dozens of videos on their YouTube channel. Their videos, which feature the pair sharing their beautiful voices, have received millions of views. Also, they currently have more than 650,000 people subscribed to their channel.

As much attention as the father-daughter duo has gotten over the last couple of years, Mat and Savanna decided to go back in time. They posted a new video of them singing “The Prayer.”

The video’s description points out that originally a video of the two of them singing “The Prayer” together was the first one posted on their channel approximately three years ago!

In the new video, the father and daughter sing the sweet, tender words of the song as a little girl and two puppies snooze together on a nearby couch.

The video’s description explains how much the song means to them.

“We still love singing it all these years later. This song gets me everytime,” the description reads.

Others who commented on the video expressed how much they loved their rendition of the show.

“This looks and sounds like pure authentic singing. No editing or postproduction. Voices in the room. Simply divine,” one person posted.

“The prayer is one of my most loved songs and both of your voices gave me chills and teary-eyed. Loved it,” a second person added.

Others mentioned how they have improved and grown from their first video.

“Savannah’s voice has improved so much over the last three years. She was good but now she’s incredible. Thanks for sharing your beautiful voices with us these last three years,” one YouTube user commented.

“Love how Savanna’s [voice] has matured, expanded and opened! Thanks for repeating,” someone else added.

Psalm 9:2 “I will be glad and rejoice in you: I will sing praise to your name, O you most High.”

I Refuse

Living in such a dark world in such dark times, we must refuse to listen to the lies that the great enemy speaks and turn to the hope of Christ and what God promises. Stay strong in the faith and may this song encourage you!

‘Good Morning Mercy’ Jason Crabb Dylan Scott Official Music Video

Most people are in desperate need of grace and mercy. Luckily, there is One who dispenses an ample amount of both.

No one on the face of the earth is perfect. Everyone has sinned, made mistakes and failed. Romans 3:23 reads that “all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.”

However, the catchy, country-sounding song “Good Morning Mercy” by Jason Crabb and Dylan Scott explains that the Lord, because of His extraordinary mercy and grace, is faithful to forgive.

The opening verse mentions that even when we believe we have messed things up beyond repair, God is still at work. Even when we think our sin and shame are too much for Him, we could not be further from the truth. Nothing is too far for the Lord, the lyrics point out.

The second verse adds that even after we have been forgiven and God has extended His grace and mercy, there will still be failures. Again, no one on the earth is perfect.

Becoming totally dependent and reliant on God’s direction and guidance is a process. It’s not something that happens overnight. No one knows what may happen tomorrow, as the song mentions. So, our best course of action is to give Him all our hopes, worries and fears.

The chorus adds that God, through His mercy and grace, has helped place the musicians back on the straight and narrow. In addition, God has removed any past hurts and heartaches.

Because of Him, it’s a brand new day!

“You work me up, put me on my way
Hallelujah it’s a brand new day
Good morning mercy”

What a wonderful little song about God’s mercy, grace and faithfulness to forgive if we humble ourselves and repent of our sins. His mercy can completely alter the trajectory of our lives!

James 2:13 “For judgment is without mercy to him who has shown no mercy. Mercy triumphs over judgment.”

‘Another Glimpse’ Passion and Sean Curran Live Performance

One song beautifully articulates a message about the immense power, love and holiness of God.

God, due to His unceasing love, mercy and grace, is worthy of all praise and worship. The New Testament book of John reads that God sent his one and only son into the world to take our place on the cross, to give humanity a chance, simply because of His love for us, even as sinners.

The song “Another Glimpse” by Passion and Sean Curran is all about the holiness and goodness of God. As the song indicates, God is so incredibly holy, powerful and loving that we can’t even begin to comprehend it. The human mind is not even capable of understanding God’s holiness.

The first couple of verses wonderfully describes God sitting in his rightful place of glory and honor in heaven. But the song’s chorus perfectly expresses the sheer enormity of God’s holiness.

“With every lap around the throne, I catch another glimpse
You’re holy, holy, so holy
The longer I behold You I can’t help but say again
You’re holy, holy, so holy”

What a wonderful, awesome and inspiring idea! The more we learn about God, the more time we spend with Him will only result in understanding that He is even more holy than we could have imagined.

The rest of the song praises the Lord, referring to him again and again as holy. God is worthy of all honor and glory, the lyrics point out.

In addition to the lyrics of the truth-filled song, the video is also beautiful. An entire stadium full of people sings in unison as the musicians perform. It’s a wonderful sight to see and hear!

Check out the awesome song and video!

1 Chronicles 16:29  “Give to the Lord the glory due his name: bring an offering, and come before him: worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness.”

‘God Is In This House’ KingsPorch Official Music Video

The Lord is still more than capable of forgiving sins and healing hurts as the lyrics to one song remind us.

The world can be a dark and dangerous environment, where hurt, heartache and struggle abound. Individuals undergo many different situations that can absolutely devastate and destroy people. However, there is One who can fix those who have been shattered or destroyed. God can mend anyone previously thought broken beyond all repairs.

The song “God Is In this House” by KingsPorch mentions God’s wondrous and miraculous healing ability. No matter what you may be facing or whatever you may have gone through, God is still real, still working and “is in this house” and “that’s all that matters,” the song states.

The song's first verse does not hold anything back. The lyrics correctly mentions what keeps many people back from turning to God: their sin and shame. Instead of allowing those burdens, worries and pain to hold individuals back from seeking God, the lyrics encourage listeners to bring them all and give them to Him.

The second verse states that those only keep us from experiencing God’s love. “We don’t need them anymore” because “we are standing in the presence of the Lord,” the lyrics point out.

A verse in the latter part of the song adds what can happen if we do decide to hand over those hurts, burdens and worries. Freedom and healing can take place. God can and will perform stunning works. He will restore and repair!

Right before the conclusion of the tune, the singers sing about our ultimate victory because of Jesus Christ. He has defeated death and hell. He already paid our debt by dying on the cross.

What a beautiful song with an awe-inspiring message about the love, healing and hope found in Jesus Christ!

‘Sunday Is Coming’ Phil Wickham Official Music Video

One beautifully written and performed song recalls the events surrounding Christ’s painful death and miraculous resurrection.

John 3:16 reads that God sent his one and only son into the world so that whoever believes in Him may not die but have everlasting life. Without such a move, the world and everyone in it would be lost and confined to a life of sin and shame.

However, as detailed in Phil Wickham’s song “Sunday is Coming,” God made a way, through the painful, horrible and undeserving death of his son, Jesus Christ, to redeem the world. From beginning to end, the song captures the events, starting with Judas’ betrayal to His world-altering resurrection.

The song’s opening verses describe Christ and how He understood to remove the bondage of sin and shame, it would require the death of a perfect man. He knew He had to die and willingly gave Himself up for you, me and all humanity.

The third verse points out how He was betrayed by one of the twelve, faced mockery and carried His own cross to the spot of His eventual death on Calvary. He did this all the while, as the song points out, without uttering a word in His defense. He willingly accepted His terrible fate.

However, luckily, as the song’s chorus informs us, His death is not the end!

“Friday’s good cause Sunday is coming
Don’t lose hope cause Sunday is coming
Devil, you’re done
You better start running”

The song ends with the singer informing listeners that Christ is no longer dead but has arisen and He reigns upon His throne!

We do not have to fear, because Sunday is coming. Christ lives, for He has risen!

Luke 24:5 “And as they were afraid, and bowed down their faces to the earth in fear, these said to them, ‘Why are you looking for the living among the dead?’”

Precious Little Girl Sings ‘Peace In Christ’

An adorable, sweet little girl provides a beautifully sung reminder about the peace that surpasses all understanding.

Many people are in a constant battle against feelings of anxiety, apprehension, dread and worry. Whether due to the headlines continuously splashed across our television screens as part of the 24-hour news cycle or the latest viral social media post predicting catastrophe, happiness, contentment and peace can be hard to find.

However, in a video posted on YouTube, one child knows where to find peace and lets everyone else in on it as she sings “Peace in Christ.” In picturesque locations, the child belts out the lyrics, informing viewers how Christ can bring them peace and contentment.

In the first verse, the child sings that Christ has love for us. He, the child sings, took our sins upon Himself. He made the ultimate sacrifice of love when he paid our debt by dying on the cross all those years ago.

Praise God!

Not only does Christ provide those who follow Him and adhere to His teachings with peace but he does so much more. The song’s chorus informs listeners that Christ gives us hope even in a hopeless situation.

Christ will also give us the strength to continue when doing so is impossible. He will protect us when we encounter one of life’s many storms, the lyrics state.

“He gives us hope
When hope is gone
He gives us strength
When we can’t go on”

There are plenty of worries, burdens and other things that can keep our minds in a constant state of panic and unease. But there is One who can alleviate all those concerns and do so much more!

What a wonderful song about the peace and contentment that only Christ can provide.

Proverbs 22:6 “Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.”

Linda Boles-What Can We Do

Sometimes we wonder how we can make a difference in a world filled with darkness. As children of God, we are called to be His hands and feet in a broken world. By sharing His love to all we can make a difference. That’s what we can do!

Ain’t No Grave by Becca Lynne

After a lifelong crippling fear of death, I am finally free if that fear. I’m singing Ain’t No Grave at the top of my lungs!

Classic Performance Of “I Bowed on My Knees” From Voices Of Gaither

Take five minutes and savor this glorious classic performance of “I Bowed on My Knees” from Voices of Gaither. It will make your day better!

The video, recorded live from Tarrant County Convention Center in Fort Worth, TX, in 1996, features five primary voices from Voices of Gaither, along with dozens of gifted artists on stage. Countless others sing from their seats in the audience.

From the gentle and genuine eyes of the first vocalist to the passionate praise of the final two minutes. From the smiles on their faces to the tears running down the faces of some, this is a body of believers on fire for Jesus!

The father of Gaither Music, William James Gaither, now almost 87 years old, wears a blue suit and quietly directs the soloists to come forward. Bill and his wife, Gloria, have written hundreds of songs—they’d composed over 700 by 2012! Two of the most recognizable are “He Touched Me” and “Because He Lives.” Their ministry is expansive but not nearly as fabulous as the Home they sing about in this song!

“I Bowed on My Knees” tells the story of a person entering Heaven, greeted by angels, and given a tour of the mansions there. But, the new resident wants to see Jesus more than anything else. Full of joy, the song reminds us of the eternity that awaits believers.

Here is the verse of the song, originally copyrighted in 1923

Then I bowed on my knees and cried,
"Holy, Holy, Holy."
I clapped my hands and sang, "Glory,
Glory to the Son of God."

At 2:55, Jonathan Pierce sings the line about meeting Abraham, Jacob, Isaac, Mark, and Timothy. Can you imagine! Mr. Pierce has surely met Jesus and every single one of the Bible heroes; he died at the age of 49 following heart surgery. Like so many others on the stage in Fort Worth in 1996, he left an inspiring musical legacy!

“‘Don’t cling to me,’ Jesus said, ‘for I haven’t yet ascended to the Father. But go find my brothers and tell them, ‘I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.’” John 20:17

Dolly Parton and Natalie Grant Sing ‘Just A Little Talk With Jesus’

Two award-winning musicians took the stage and surprised the audience at a popular theme park in Tennessee with a beautiful duet about the power and promises of Christ.

Dolly Parton is a beloved Hollywood icon who can do it all. She has starred in several hit films and produced dozens of memorable songs throughout her illustrious career. Now in her 70s, Dolly has shown no signs of slowing down.

As the video posted to YouTube shows, Dolly joined forces and teamed up with fellow musician Natalie Grant. It’s clear Dolly’s appearance was completely unexpected but very welcomed. The crowd goes wild when the “Jolene” singer takes the stage at Dollywood.

After a few warm pleasantries between the two singers, Dolly and Natalie treat the audience to a rendition of “Just a Little Talk with Jesus.” Natalie, after some light prodding from Dolly, kicks off the song, taking the first verse.

The song’s opening lyrics mention that, while lost in sin, Jesus Christ displayed His abundant love, mercy and grace. Christ after cleansing her heart, “wrote my name above” and it was “just a little talk with Jesus” that made all the difference, Natalie sings.

Dolly then joins Natalie for the catchy and truth-filled chorus about relying upon the power, love and faithfulness of Jesus Christ.

“Let us tell Him all about our troubles
He will hear our faintest cry
And He will answer by and by”

What powerful words, which are an excellent reminder that Christ cares about whatever obstacle that stands in our way. He wants us to bring those worries and requests to Him and lay them at His feet. He, as the song’s chorus mentions, will answer those prayer requests in time.

Dolly takes the song’s next verse, which points out that despite our fears and tears, Christ is a trusted friend and savior that will never leave or forsake us. He is an ally who keeps a constant watch, day and night. Christ, the verse adds, knows our every care.

Natalie and Dolly have a wonderful time entertaining the crowd at the Pigeon Forge, Tennessee park!

What an excellent performance by two terrific singers! Also, what a special treat for those park goers who just happened to be in the park that day.

2 Chronicles 7:14 “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”
